lua-nginx-memcached software package provides Pure Lua memcached client driver for the nginx embedded Lua language, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lua-nginx-memcached
lua-nginx-memcached is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lua-nginx-memcached package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lua-nginx-memcached *
You will get with lua-nginx-memcached package name, version, architecture and description in a table
